What information do we collect?
When you interact with us, we may collect your name, postal address, email address(es), telephone number(s) and, where appropriate for our services, information such as your date of birth, curriculum vitae, professional background and career-related information.
In the context of our coaching, assessment and career transition programmes, we may also process information provided by you or, with your knowledge, by your employer or sponsoring organisation, including assessment results and development-related information. This information is treated with strict confidentiality.
How do we collect information?
We may collect information about you whenever you interact with us — for example, when you contact us regarding our services, fill in a form on our website, register for a workshop or event, take part in one of our programmes, or apply via pdp career hub. In these cases, you knowingly provide us with your personal information.
We may also receive information about you from third parties — for example, from your employer in the context of a programme it has commissioned — but only where there is a legitimate basis for this and, where required, with your knowledge or consent.
How do we use your information?
We use your information to provide and manage our services, respond to your requests, organise workshops and programmes, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for purposes incompatible with those described here.
Confidentiality and data sharing
Your information is accessible only to the pdp team members and partners who need it to deliver our services, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not disclose individual coaching or assessment content to employers without your agreement, except where required by law.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites not owned or managed by pdp performance development partners SA, including websites linked from our website. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any external websites you visit.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by Swiss law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain processing, and to request its portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@pdpeurope.ch.
Making a complaint
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us at contact@pdpeurope.ch with the details of your concern. We will review your complaint, check whether the right procedures have been followed, and respond to you as appropriate. We aim to complete this review within 15 working days of receiving your complaint; in some cases it may take longer. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
